Aztec Warrior, Character Design Challenge (september 2020)

Submission to the CDC(Character Design Challenge) of september 2020. I found it very interesting and teaching to spend more time than usual on a personal piece. I wanted him to give the illusion of being a "small window on a big world".
"The new Tlatoani is sophisticated, he sees beauty only in precision. We all wonder if his warriors are human like us or if they've ever been. They fight without heart, like hollow puppets. Oddly, they attract couatl - and that could only suggest one thing : Moctezuma II uses the fruits of sacrifices for his own warriors. Would he dare steal what the gods ask for? Would he dare bring us all closer to doom, scorn the gods and his people?"
